In this collection, I explore the diverse faces of Cuban women, each embodying the spirit of La Caridad del Cobre in their own unique way. For me, La Caridad is not just one vision; she represents the many layers of femininity, resilience, and strength found across the beautiful tapestry of Cuba. Each woman tells a story, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and vibrant identities that shape our island.

La Criolla is a tribute to one of these remarkable women. She embodies the essence of the Cuban experience, representing the heart and soul of our culture. Additionally, she carries a dual identity as a reflection of Oshun, the Afro-Cuban goddess of love and rivers, often associated with the color aqua. Just as Oshun is revered for her beauty, strength, and nurturing spirit, La Criolla encapsulates these qualities, reminding us of the powerful connections between our heritage and spirituality.
